Free Frank front from England, with a Sunday postmark

Description:

United Kingdom free frank front mounted on stiff backing. Posted in London it was sent to Malton in Yorkshire. This front bears a Sunday mark dated February 17, 1839. The Sunday mark indicates a one day delivery delay because of the Sabbath. The front was then postmarked the next normal delivery day, Monday, February 18, 1839.
