Tacoma Address handstamp for office use

Description:

Clerks in the Registry Section of the Tacoma, Washington, General Mail Facility used this handstamp to imprint the facility's name and address onto an envelope or card. When registry receipts are received, they are signed and a copy is returned to the dispatching office for its records. This handstamp would simplify addressing the registry return card or an envelope containing receipts.
