Graf Zeppelin Swiss Flight post card
This card is one of eighty-six pieces dropped over Winterthur from the LZ127 Graf Zeppelin on its flight over Switzerland to Dübendorf on November 2, 1929. The postage pays the 50 pfg zeppelin postcard rate. In addition to the red zeppelin flight confirmation cachet, the card has a private label depicting the Graf Zeppelin and flags of Switzerland and Germany with text honoring the first Swiss landing. The card is addressed to Swiss airmail dealer Eugen Sekula.
