The 4-cent Seattle World's Fair commemorative stamp was issued on April 25, 1962, through the Seattle, Washington, post office. Designed by John Maass, the stamp features an image of the Space Needle and the Seattle Monorail, which were built for the Seattle World's Fair, April 21 to October 21, 1962. These landmarks remain fixtures of Seattle.
This stamp was printed on the Giori press and issued in panes of fifty stamps each. An initial printing of 135 million stamps was authorized.
