In the 1942 American Art Service cartoon cachet, a sailor jumps up to salute a passing officer and drops his girl friend off his lap. Sent under free franking, postmarked U. S. Navy, date unreadable. There is one letter (2002.2035.599.2-.3) associated with this cover that was passed by a Naval censor. See the handwritten free frank in the upper right corner.
