While a fierce-looking Uncle Sam exhorts Americans to act, cartoon portraits of the three Axis leaders show that Benito Mussolini has already been dealt the final blow. This serviceman's cover, sent under Free Franking from Fort Riley, Kansas, was postmarked Junction City, Kansas, April 7, 1944. The cachet is by Richard P. Boone of Wilmington, North Carolina.
