A six-cent United States Scott 811 is tied to this cachet cover postmarked Wilmette, Illinois, September 6, 1944. The cachet designer was Matthew J. Huss of Evanston, Illinois, who adopted Diana as the signatory device for the drawings (see it at the proper left shoulder of Eisenhower's portrait). According to the text printed on the reverse, the Eisenhower cachet was Design 19 in the series produced by Huss.
