A six-cent United States Scott C25 (air mail postage) is tied to the cover by the postmark U. S. Navy, September 16, 1944. The cover, whose back flap is stamped with the return address "Clerks Box Navy 115, Fleet Post Office, New York City, New York," was passed by Naval censor.
