Description:

"Protect Your Liberty With War Bonds"

The serviceman's cover was sent under Free Franking from Greenwood Army Air Field, Mississippi, and postmarked January 25, 1944. On the cover face is a patriotic label (For God and Country) using the traditional icons of the flag and the V for Victory. But an elongated Christian cross is also included. On the reverse is a second patriotic label, Poland ... First To Fight!, illustrated with the Polish flag. Richard P. Boone of Wilmington, North Carolina, published the cachet.
