Cleveland and Cincinnati HPO duplex handstamp

Description:

Pitney Bowes manufactured this steel-head postmarker used on the Cleveland and Cincinnati Highway Post Office route (HPO) after 1960. The date set in the postmarker is for the final run of 'trip 4'. The CLEVE and CIN HPO was the last Highway Post Office route operated in the United States.
