Two-slot postage stamp vending machine
The Postage Stamp Machine Company manufactured this gray-colored, metal, vending machine in Brooklyn, New York. The metal base stabilized the rectangular-shaped device on a counter-top. The machine’s white-colored front has two coin slots marked “4 cent stamps, two for a dime” and “5 cent stamps, four for a quarter.” Two corresponding stamp slots are located next to s-shaped, crank-operated levers and above two coin-return slots. The slot in the center served as a coin return. Given that the lowest denomination stamp on the two coin slots is the 4-cent, the machine appears to date from the 1950s-1960s.
