The token was given to Owney by the clerks working on the eastbound train car, Michael P. Burke, an Irish immigrant, Joseph F. Finch of Illinois, Lawrence J.A. Holst, a German immigrant, Warren J. Nash of Maine, Lawrence R. Rossiter of Ohio, Frederick R. Stuart and George G. Whitmore, both born in Nebraska.
