Brooklyn, Bath and West End Railroad Owney tag
Owney obtained this round metal tag while riding in New York City. He rode the Brooklyn, Bath and West End Railroad, which had been organized in 1885 out of the Brooklyn, Bath and Coney Island Railroad. There is no information on when he rode in this car, but it was probably before the line was electrified with trolley wire in 1893. At that time, the BB & WE merged with the Atlantic Avenue Railroad.
