The Postal Service issued its 1-dollar USPS Logo with Olympic Rings stamp September 29, 1991, in Orlando, Florida. The US Postal Service was a worldwide sponsor of the 1992 Winter and Summer Olympic Games.
The stamps were designed by Terrence McCaffrey and printed in the photogravure process by Stamp Venturers, Inc. The stamps were issued in panes of twenty.
